For first-time visitors

You're
welcome here.

However you got here — searching, invited, curious — there's a seat with your name on it this Sunday. No dress code. No pressure. Just a community that's glad you came.

What to expect

A 75-minute service.
Coffee before, conversation after.

Music, prayer, a teaching from the Bible, and time to meet the people sitting next to you. That's it. We try not to make church complicated.

01

Walk in & grab coffee

Free coffee in the lobby starting 30 minutes before service. If you don't know where to go, look for a host in a blue lanyard — they're paid in coffee to find you.

02

Worship & teaching

About 25 minutes of music, then a 35-minute teaching from one of our pastors. Our current series is walking through the Sermon on the Mount.

03

Stay or go

Meet someone for lunch, or head out the back door — both are great. We'll never single you out, ask you to stand, or pass a plate to a guest.

Kids & students

Your kids will love it. We'll make sure of it.

Birth through 5th grade meet in age-appropriate environments with trained volunteers, scripture-based curriculum, and the kind of energy that means they'll ask to come back next week.

Middle and high school students meet Wednesday nights for SendYTH — pizza, games, and real conversations about following Jesus in a real world.

Community

Sunday is the start, not the whole thing.

The real shape of life at SBC happens in the smaller circles — small groups that meet in homes during the week, ministries built around shared seasons of life, friendships that outlast the church year.

You don't need to figure this out on your first visit. But when you're ready, there's a next step waiting.

Common questions

Honest answers.

What should I wear?

Whatever you've got. You'll see jeans, slacks, sundresses, suits — the only "dress code" is comfortable.

How long is the service?

About 75 minutes start to finish. We start on time and we end on time.

What about my kids?

Drop them off in their age group on the way in. They'll have a great time. You'll get them back at the end.

Will I be singled out?

No. We won't ask guests to stand or fill anything out. Slip in, slip out — totally fine.

Do I need to give money?

Not as a guest. The offering is for our church family. You're welcome — and never asked.

I have more questions.

Email welcome@scottsdalebible.com and a real person will get back to you within a day.

See you Sunday?

Tell us you're coming and we'll have a host watching for you when you walk in.
